Most problems with our website shopping experience are due to the security settings on your web browser or security software.  Our website has been throughly tested with modern versions of Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome and Safari and has been found to work with all default security settings. If you have a 3rd party security suite (Norton, McAfee, etc) installed on your computer, or have increased your security settings within your web broswer, you may need to adjust the settings to get our website to work properly for you.

Our shopping cart is a modified version of a freeware "Client Side" shopping cart that gathers a list of items you've added to the cart and ultimately sends them over to PayPal for credit card processing.  It uses temporary session cookies and JavaScript - two things that sercurity software can "red flag" as possible ways to infect your computer.  Our shopping cart and our website are both free of viruses and spy ware - our goal is to sell you stuff - not mess with your computer! To shop online with Digital Heroes your web browser must be set up to accept cookies and run JavaScript along with JavaScript generated "pop-up" dialog boxes.

Possible Problems & Suggested Solutions:

1) You try to add an item to the cart and nothing happens (no pop-up saying "Item has been added to cart!") In this case you may not have javascript enabled. Solution: Please make sure your browser is set to run javascript.

2) You see the "Item has been added to cart!" message, but when you go to the cart page nothing is showing up. Solution: You must make sure your browser and security software have been set to allow "cookies" from www.digitalheroes.com. The default security settings on all current browsers allow for this, but 3rd party security software may block these by default.

3) You can't check out or you click on the PayPal "button" but nothing happens. Solution: There is no PayPal "button". You must click on the "secure checkout" button to check out through PayPal. If this button is "grayed out" and not clickable, then you must choose a valid shipping option before you can proceed to the checkout page.

4) The website generally does not work well for me. Solution: Try a different web browser and/or disable your security software. I highly recommend Chrome from Google. Our website seems to work best with Chrome, but also works well with Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Safari. Additionally you might have security software from Norton, McAfee, etc runing in the background. Depending on your settings, this software does not always work well with our site. Most of these can be temporarily disabled while you shop with us and then you can turn it back on after you are done.

If all else fails you are welcome to give us a call and place your order over the phone or through email.  We have a credit card machine and can process cards here locally - without going through PayPal.  Please see our Ordering Q&A for more information.
